I walked the undercliff path on Saturday early evening and saw common lizards crossing the path to the beach side. Snonechats, but no Dartford warblers.
I was shocked into an entry because I just looked out into my front garden to see a gatekeeper, after a few weeks of meadow browns, and clouds of painted ladies.
There's a crow with white streaks in its tail feathers wondering whether it's safe to hop onto the lawn from the dinghy.
Last evening, I looked out at the full moon before drawing the curtains and a bold, lanky fox walked down the road, a little after 11pm.
